"Young House Love" love!

Sherry and John- the "Youngsters" of Young House Love -are the rockstars of the home and life blogging world.  Since 2007, they've been sharing the process of updating their home and their adventures as a not-too-long married couple.  Step-by-step they detail their work, which is always focused on beauty and affordability.  I was first introduced to YHL about a year ago and spent hours scrolling through their posts. 

The couple, who both contribute to their site, feel like the kind of friends that give you awesome advice and "woo-hoo!" when you find a great deal.  Their gorgeous sense of style doesn't feel unattainable.  All the house projects that I'd been wanting to do didn't seem so overwhelming after I began planning and thinking like a "Youngster."  The tasks feel manageable and exciting.

My little blog is no where near the level of Young House Love, but I was heartened recently when they linked one of their early posts, which had only one comment (they average a LOT these days.)  They started where I'm starting, just having fun and sharing their life.
