Savannah. Part three.

  1. The only place that any of the ladies specifically mentioned wanting to go was the home of Juliette Gordon Low, who founded the Girl Scouts of America.  When Gina was a little girl, she was part of a scout troop that helped dedicate the building.
  2. The tour guide did a great job; lots of interesting little tid bits.  The house has been well maintained, including lots of Gordon Low furniture and relics.
  3. In the courtyard, there was a plant that you have to see to really grasp the huge size.  Like a mammoth aloe.
  4. We walked and walked some more.  There’s just so much to see.
  5. We dropped in little shops and cracked ourselves up continually.
  6. The Paris Market is one of the best known stores there.  Two floors of random, unique, and quirky things.
  7. My linen romper was perfect for the day, except I had to unbutton and drop the whole piece anytime I went to the bathroom!
  8. We stopped in a wig and hat shopped and gave ourselves fits of giggles until the owner came and starred us down with his hands on his hips…
  9. You see so many interesting details and feature while walking the City.  This was a little ally where we pretended to be locked up for all the “trouble” we were causing!
